Empowering local writers through engaging events and community support.
Uplifting Voices Project
The Uplifting Voices Project is a nonprofit passion project dedicated to amplifying local writers and artists in southeastern PA. Our goal is to create a platform where creatives can share their work, tell their stories, and explore their process, while connecting their messages to the social landscape of our local community. While rooted in supporting local writers, we also uplift photographers, visual artists, and other creatives whose voices deserve to be heard.

Technology and the Environment.
Technology and the Environment: from Data Centers to Disaster Culture
We will feature three local(ish) authors exploring our community's relationship to green space and how emerging technologies like AI and the rapid growth of data centers are complicating and threating that relationship.
Patrick Reilly is an environmental attorney and author of awarding winning sci-fi novel Ice's End, which projects a hundred years into the future where water scarcity and capitalism collide.
Josh Dale is a local author of several books as well as the editor-in-chief of Thirty West Publishing House. He will speak to AI and the ethical/environmental challenges in the publishing field.
Lastly, Robert Ficociello is an author and professor of English at Holy Family College. His academic work features a publication entitled American Disaster Culture which examines our culutral relationship with natural disasters. He has also recently published a children's book Lucia and Marcus Go to Space which features females scientists at the forefront.
